Remembing 9/11

Five years ago today me and Dave had just celebrated our 2nd anniversary together. That summer we went to Yellowstone for our anniversary. I remember the day before 9/11 we went to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The next morning I was laying in bed reminising about the wonderful night we had together, the two years we had been married and remembering our honeymoon two years earlier that had just begun. I got up and just happened to turn on the television, I don't normally turn on the tv in the morning to watch the news it just so happened I did on that day. What flashed before my eyes was heartbreaking, I couldn't believe what I was watching. I called Dave and continued talking only to tell him the second tower was hit and than later came tumbling down. Every year we celebrate our anniversay the day before this horrible event happened. We celebrate our marriage and the years together and than watch the next day the recaps on 9-11. I am so grateful to have celebrated 7 years with my husband and consider myself lucky to be together again another year, especially after watching the recaps of those people who died that tragic day. I consider myself lucky and have a good reminder of just how much I love my husband when our anniversary rolls around each year. Dave I love you, thanks for 7 wonderful years together.
