Learning to ride a Bike

Brody has begged for weeks now to have his "steering wheels" as he puts it removed from his bike so that he can learn to ride it the big boy way! So after the begging continued Dave removed the training wheels and practiced with him a couple of times to help him get the hang of it and off he goes. On this particular day he asked to ride his bike so I went out with him and would push him to get him going. After falling several times he declares I want my steering wheels back on. So I told him he would have to ask dad on that one, knowing it wasn't going to happen so Dave again helped him ride his bike! This time after a little practice and teaching him how to get started and stop on his own he has it figured out. He was trying so hard not to smile at us while riding, which makes us laugh because we were smiling at him and how proud we are he learned something new! What a big boy he is turning into, I can't believe he just turned 4. A proud moment when you little kid learns something new that he finds great joy in! Riding a Bike! And we couldn't forget Maggie who was doing her best to keep up with her brother on her bike. Sidenote its not cold here, she would like to think that it is by the way she dresses sometimes. It was actually a really warm day well over 90 silly girl!
